Jessica Walsh, founder of Little Linguists, taught Spanish for 15 years before leaving the profession to be a stay at home mom.  While at home raising her two kids, she paid close attention to how they learned language, applying it to the way she teaches elementary students to effectively learn Spanish.

Having always known that the early years are the best opportunity for children to learn another language, Jessica was frustrated by the fact that many local school districts do not offer Spanish classes until middle school or later. Wanting to do better for kids, she used her problem solving skills, years of teaching experience, travel adventures, hard work, passion and determination to create Little Linguists, with the goal of bringing Spanish to as many kids as early as possible.

Jessica holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum Development and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, both from Michigan State University.

She is certified through the Colorado Department of Education to teach Spanish to students in grades Kindergarten-12th grade.
